Matilda Kapala

Matilda is a final year LLB (Sandwich) student at Nottingham Law School. Nottingham Trent University. Matilda spent her third year on placement, working as a legal assistant in the Nottingham Law School Legal Advice Centre (LAC). During her time on placement, Matilda worked in all service areas including employment, family, crime, business and intellectual property. Matilda also provided significant input into developing LAC’s Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) service and secured £25,000 for a vulnerable client in her first social security tribunal case. Matilda has appeared as a speaker at both national and international events. Matilda is currently co-chair of the LAC Student Pro Bono Committee and project leader for the Nottingham Women’s Centre Outreach Service.
